Who reviews our content
Ohad Fisher — Founder & Editor, Titrate — leads the content review process. He is not a licensed clinician; every clinical claim is checked against primary peer-reviewed sources, FDA prescribing information, and recognized clinical guidelines (NICE NG87, CADDRA) before publication.
What “medically reviewed” means here
For every clinical article, we verify that statements about dosing, side-effect incidence, contraindications, and onset timelines are supported by one or more of the following:
- Peer-reviewed randomized controlled trials or meta-analyses
- FDA / EMA prescribing information and drug labels
- National clinical guidelines (NICE NG87, CADDRA, APA)
- Reputable clinical summaries from major medical centers
When a topic is evolving or evidence is limited, we say so explicitly and cite the strongest available source.
Editorial standards
- Evidence first: Claims are tied to sources, not anecdote.
- No fabricated credentials: We do not invent authors or medical reviewers. Clinical statements are reviewed against sources, not attributed to a non-existent doctor.
- Clear scope: Our content is educational. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace a licensed clinician.
- Regular refresh: Medication guides are reviewed at least quarterly and updated when guidelines or safety data change.
